#Kulturfjorden #DetKreativeNetværk #ShowOFF2015 #OFFTrack2017

In 2015, Frontløberne expanded its cultural impact with Kulturfjorden at Kulturmødet Mors, offering vibrant spaces for young creatives to connect and collaborate. The year also saw the launch of Det Kreative Netværk, bringing together creative entrepreneurs from across Region Midtjylland through workshops, pitch sessions, and inspiring talks by cultural leaders.

A significant milestone was ShowOFF, an ambitious event showcasing Aarhus's creative grassroots through music, art, and performances at the iconic Kulbroen. These efforts reinforced Frontløberne’s role as a hub for fostering cultural dialogue and innovation.

Kulturfjorden

For the second year, Frontløberne participated in Kulturmødet Mors, where they hosted Kulturfjorden, also known as the Youth Camp. Kulturmødet Mors, often compared to Denmark’s Folkemødet, centers around discussions on art and culture and their societal roles, primarily taking place at Værket on Gasværksvej.

Kulturfjorden blended talks, music, art, workshops, and a festival vibe, with young participants camping on-site. Bureau Detours designed and built the physical structures using their signature "wildstyle" pallet construction, making the setup even larger and bolder than in 2014.

Frontløberne

Frontløberne and Creative Entrepreneurs: Frontløberne spearheaded initiatives for creative entrepreneurs through Det Kreative Netværk. This network connected creative professionals across Region Midtjylland, including graphic designers, filmmakers, event organizers, and platform developers. The goal was to unite and strengthen creative entrepreneurs in the region’s growth layer.

Network meetings were key to the initiative, allowing participants to meet across industries, share inspiration, solve challenges collaboratively, network, and develop tangible projects.

OFF Track 2017 OFF Track aimed to spotlight the creative grassroots across Region Midtjylland and foster collaboration between this group and creative industries. Led by eight established organizations, each member identified top regional talents in their respective fields:
  • Frontløberne (creative industries)
  • Promus (music, sound, and lyrics)
  • Smag (food)
  • DGI (sports and street culture)
  • Institut for (x) (architecture and urban spaces)
  • The Animation Workshop (film/animation/cross-media)
  • Culture Works (art/street art)
  • Scenekunstcentret (performing arts)
