Kulturfjorden
For the third consecutive year, Frontløberne managed Kulturfjorden (previously called the Youth Camp) at Kulturmødet Mors, having participated in 2014 and 2015. Much like Denmark’s Folkemødet, Kulturmødet focuses on conversations about art and culture and their role in society, with discussions primarily held at Værket on Gasværksvej.
Kulturfjorden offered a mix of talks, music, art, workshops, and a festival atmosphere. Young participants could camp in the area, and Kulturfjorden also hosted an afterparty for Kulturmødet, featuring performances by artists like Mads Langer.
This year, Laura Ellen Charlotte Carlsson and Dagmar Billie Kyhn led the physical construction of the camp, designed in collaboration with Bureau Detours. Numerous partners contributed to the content, providing a diverse program for the attendees.

Tour de Flæskehal
In collaboration with Aarhus Festuge, Frontløberne presented Tour de Flæskehal in the abandoned slaughterhouse buildings of Aarhus’s South Harbor. The project centered around three retired sausage makers who apprenticed at Aarhus Flæskehal as teenagers and worked there until the facility closed in 1972.
The guided tours and subsequent exhibition showcased tools, photographs, and stories from this unique workplace, bridging the past, present, and future of the South Harbor. Current occupants of Flæskehallen shared their experiences, followed by the former workers recounting their time in the buildings.

Innovation in education
As part of the Bæredygtig energi til fremtiden initiative by CESSO, Frontløberne contributed tasks to a catalog designed for various educational levels. The project aims to teach students entrepreneurship and problem-solving. Participating classes tackled tasks such as creating a zine or presenting youth culture within a free event framework.
The results will be showcased at an event for schools and partners in spring 2017. Explore the task catalog here: Projektkatalog.
