#Projekthåndbog #Det3Rum #SHOWOFF2019 #FartPåtags

2019 was an eventful year for Frontløberne, with many new initiatives and collaborations launched. We secured funding for several major projects, including the publication of a Projekthåndbog, the transformation of BlackBox into Det 3. Rum, and the development of Fart På, a project management course. The project house buzzed with activity, with over 190 active members by the end of the year.

Projekthåndbogen

In 2019, we published a 300-page handbook titled HACK DET! – Projekthåndbog til unge kulturskabere, introducing youth culture and guiding readers through the process of creating cultural projects from A to Z. The book is packed with knowledge on project management and practical tools, along with interviews featuring inspiring young cultural creators sharing their stories, tips, and tricks.

We also released a pocket-sized version, Den Lille Projekthåndbog, a concise 100-page no-frills guide to the essentials of project management. The pocket edition is available for free download.

For those who prefer listening over reading, we created a podcast series offering bite-sized introductions to different stages of the project process.

The Projekthåndbøger were launched at events in Copenhagen and Aarhus with beer, live music, poetry slams, skate workshops, mini-conferences on youth culture, pizza, and great company. The project was supported by the Tuborg Foundation.

Det 3. Rum

(aka. D3)
With support from Underværker, our old BlackBox underwent a significant overhaul in 2019, transforming into Det 3. Rum. This creative cultural venue hosts a wide variety of growth-layer events, including salons, theater performances, communal dinners, art exhibitions, film screenings, literature events, concerts, creative workshops, and much more.

In 2019, Det 3. Rum hosted approximately 105 events, with renovations continuing into 2020 to further develop it into an even more vibrant cultural space for Aarhus’s creative scene.

Show Off

In June, we opened the project house for SHOW OFF, a celebration of creative grassroots projects. Attendees explored a range of showcased projects and participated in a panel debate on improving conditions for young cultural creators. PUKK’s Live Pitch offered participants a chance to secure funding for their project ideas.

The event also marked Frontløberne’s 30th anniversary, celebrated with live music, DJs, and performances by new and old members. SHOW OFF was supported by PUKK.

Kulturfjorden

Our collaboration with Kulturmødet Mors continued in 2019 with an ambitious youth program on Kulturjorden. We worked with numerous creative grassroots actors who contributed to the program or participated in debates. Highlights included concerts, art performances, debates, a cultural casino, and activism-focused activities.

Håndkraftværket

We experimented with Håndkraftværket, a new hands-on learning format offering creative workshops on topics like prototyping and podcasting.
  • The prototyping workshop was created in collaboration with STAK – Studenter Task Force for Kreativitet.
  • The podcast workshop was developed with Vanvittig Verdenshistorie, Lydtryk, and Åndgranater.

Fart på

In 2019, we ran two rounds of Fart På, a project management course where 43 young creatives gained practical knowledge and skills for creating cultural projects. The program combined professional presentations with hands-on project experience in collaboration with various partners. Fart På was supported by Region Midtjylland.

ASU

2019 also marked the launch of ASU – Akademiet for Samfundsengagerede Unge, a major collaboration with Ungdomsbureauet in Copenhagen, supported by the Tuborg Foundation. The program is designed for high school students, providing them with the flexibility to engage in democratic participation and societal involvement. Learn more about ASU here.
